Star is different from the star glory – the spirituality of Baptist

In his first letter to church churches, Paul spoke of another natural teaching: even if Jesus got up to the tomb and what it means to believers (1 Cor. 15). There were two factors in this quagmire doctrine: One feature was Jesus’ reward. The second factor is related to we believers will be resurrected from the dead and the kind of bodies we will have. “How are the dead raised”, and he asks, “And what came and came in?” (3 Cor. 15:35)?

This problem begins to Paul in what he deceives Richard Chays calls “a fascinating piece of preaching, to urge the glamor to expect” (

272). At 1 Corinthians 15: 1-11, Paul speaks of the first aspect of verifying the truth of Jesus’ death, burial, and human spirit. At 1 Corinthians 15: 12-49, you have dealt with a second feature by explaining the type of bodies that will awar to Christ.

To show this fact, Paul puts a series of images. He starts with the Seed Form. To bear fruit and to grow, the seed should “die.” It did not be as a seed, but as a completely different object. Another matching of the distinction between the bodies of people and animals, which means the common biological view.

Also similar to those of the heavenly flower that mark the greatest boundaries of God’s creation: sun, moon and stars (1 Cor. 15: 40-41). Paul believed that God put them all, but he became a manager when the God God said “Body” for Glory:

“Both Heavenly plants and the bodies of the heavenly glory, but the glory of the glory of heaven is one thing, and one of the earth. (1 Cor. 15: 40-41, NRSV).

It is interested in knowing that Paul praised cosmos in his conversation concerning the resurrection. What did he mean when he spoke of “heavenly bodies”? What does Paul reveal to Paul, and to understand the old Space view of this guess of guessing star? How does this illuminate Paul’s view of resurrection?

Without a long history of the stars 2,000 years ago, the Grokes and Romans in Paul’s coming “bodies” that Paul wrote to Paul. Several philosophers wanted the world was rare than flat. They also understood the concept where the sun and the moon were nearing the world than stars and planets.

The ancient times also stumble from dividing between the stars and planets: stars were “prepared,” and the planets “wandered” in the sky. The Greek Earth’s name, ordermeans movement (astrayunlike AstroGreek for “Star”, that was fixed). Historically, the root name referred to wild honeycomb or waws exploded with a local leader. In the Bible, the word explained the Israelites who roamed in the wilderness (Heb. 11:38); The sheep, which were wandering about their king (Matt. 18: 12Pf; 1 Pet. 2:25); And the “false teachers” have deceived and grieved in the teachings of Christ (1 John 2: 26; 3: 7; 2 John.

The ancients have said there were nine bodies placed in the space. Ebotho contains the sun, the moon, five planets and stars. They had been prepared “in Spheres” around the world (the earth is a ninth body). The value of the gains were widely discussed. Aristotle Balale more than 55 Spheres hold a well-organized web of light and fire. Jele dryer summed this basic view:

The world is resting and Forthest was removed from the divine goal, but the suspended star speed is under the rapid control of the divine car and depends on one of the nominal; Months and Sun is near the vacant land, and therefore are not highly motivated than planets and, from Jupiter and Saturn and Saturn and Saturn closest to the simple goal ” (Dreyer, 114).

Theories regarding the star source is also different. The ancient Egyptians and the first Greek Blackers believed that the stars were a little God (“Heavenly armies”) were not guided, “Lord of hosts”. Later, the astrologers of Good-Roma believed that the stars were like a crumpling in Milky Way, a stew that Gods used to create the earth and everything on earth. That makes us – as scientists have been proposed – literal “stars”, which contain all things in the universe to give.

It was common that astrological ideas influence the comments about the resurrection. Some believed that the resurrection was a pipe dream, because how can romantic bodies live again? (Perhaps this is what John spoke to the community in his community when he conveyed the night meeting between Jesus and Nicodemus in John 3.) Some have met rebuilding stars, blasmen milky new way meat. Some Ancient Text Notes Notes, “Mama, don’t cry for me. What should we have the evening of the evening, among the gods, 118). Philo, a Jewish philosopher, believed that the resurrection would put us between stars “the earth” returned to heaven under God’s eternal throne.

With this memorial in mind, Paul used astronomy to describe the context. When he resurrects from the dead, our body will naturally “in Christ” rather than the things of the earth (of Adam). These Heavenly bodies cover, is powerful, and spiritually (Barclay, 158-9); “Light, yellow, illuminated” (Martin, 132). Dale Martin, “said Dale Martin,” the resurrected reputation failed flesh, blood, and soul (clever); Nothing of the World in this, in fact is fully integrated by the Heaven Pneuma [spirit]”(Martin, 129).

Resurrected bodies will not return to the stars, as some ancient people proposed (returning to a bowl, as they), and cannot be placed in the orbit among time engines. We’ll do it, instead, we were like Stars, as the book of Daniel says that in relation to the resurrected people “who will shine like the light of the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness, such as stars forever and ever”.

The resurrected bodies will return to God, and we will eventually enter the new earth and the last world, where the sun is the light, (Rev. 21:23). “Mystery” is finally imprisoned for the “kingdom of God” that is waiting for believers when it sounds “the last trumpet” (1 Cor. 15: 50-55).

Apart from the old idolatrists, Paul believed that we would not be God because we could not belong to God. The resurrected bodies will become the glory of glory, but the glory found in God. This is where Paul’s glitality is one to the next show to his stars and their relationships with the resurrection. *

The First Corinthians make clear that God allocated glory to the same weight. Fame is not natural within the stars, but shown and prove God’s splendor (NIV Translate dostion Slowly honestly as “splendor” instead of a “glory”). It is an exciting glory praise To God – “Morning stars sings together all the grief of heaven with joy (Job 38: 7) – And the points above creation in the Creator, “Praise him, the sun and the moon; praise him, all of you that shine the stars” (Ps. 148: 3).

Heavenly organizations are certainly given to Paul to the illustration, for example in preparing the misunderstanding of the teaching; All the believers “will sow” to be raised in Glory “threatened by a glittering, basic to the words, but they just reached the stars as he or she wants to do the good truth.

* KnakeWhy do glory differ from the stars? Perhaps fame from the star to star distance (which affects the light of the stars); Or maybe glory can be measured by thing: Paul is likely to share earthly watch that the stars were “partitions” (dreyer, 31).
