Growth in the 1960s and ’70s, our home was decorated with a large picture of Jesus’ sacred heart. He who was hanged in my grandmother’s house. A world seen ‘lost’ to the scope, divorce and violence, the holy heart shows us the way forward in the way of love. It is not a simple way, as it comes to a crown of thorns around the holy heart, but it is a way when love always has last name.
